We are a hub for individual yoga teachers who run their classes independently in our shared space.

All teachers who run classes from Chepstow Yoga Space are highly qualified and have trained with reliable institutions such as the Yoga Alliance and the British Wheel of Yoga. Our teachers are passionate about what they do and share a commitment to making yoga and movement accessible to every body.

Christine Cox

Christine started practising yoga well over 10 years ago. In 2016 she decided to take her practice deeper and has since completed the British Wheel of Yoga’s Foundation Diploma and become a Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance. Christine specialises in Vinyasa Flow classes that both energise and relax, and is inspired by the belief that absolutely anyone can practise yoga; all that’s needed is the intention to start and from there, everyone has the chance to bloom.

Lorna Kennedy

Lorna has been practicing yoga regularly for more than 12 years.  Having finished her first 200 hour teaching training in 2010 she went on to do Ashtanga and Anusara Training Immersions and a 300 hour advanced level training in Embodied Flow.  She combines all her training to date with her many years of personal practice to teach a fluid vinyasa style of yoga that invites her students to fully embody the practice.  Her classes are designed to strengthen and make space in the body and mind, utilising the power of the breath and a felt sense of the body to stop gripping, to start grounding and to experience a real sense of freedom.

Ali Rose

Infusing Yoga with Somatics, seasonal rhythms and soulful thinking Ali is passionate about reconnecting to the joys of movement, stillness, and the preciousness of Life. Ali’s classes unfold at a relaxed pace and offer a deeper enquiry for seasoned practitioners as well as establishing firm foundations to those new to yoga. Ali has been teaching Yoga for the past ten years (BWY 500 hrs), has completed advanced teacher training in Well Woman Yoga and is currently undertaking a three year part-time Somatic Movement Therapist Diploma. She looks forward to meeting you on the mat!

Sam Williams

Sam is a yoga and meditation teacher specialising in pre and postnatal and feminine yogic care. At the heart of Sam’s teachings is a total awe of the limitless powers of the mind and body. She believes we all have the tools to self soothe and ground through whatever life throws at us.
You can join Sam each week for Yin, Hatha and Pregnancy yoga classes online and in person at CYS. Keep an eye out for her monthly workshops and events.

Lisa Haf

Lisa discovered Yoga at a time when she was struggling with her mental health. She began taking classes at a studio. At first, she was going once a week but quickly became a regular as she discovered the positive effect Yoga was having on her well-being. Four years later, she enrolled on a teacher training course. Lisa trained under Yogi Masters Yogacharya Jnandev and Yogacharini Deepika of Yoga Satsanga Ashram Wales. She is a Sanatan Yoga teacher. In contrast to many Westernised Yoga classes, Sanatan Yoga does not focus solely on the physical. The practices are truly authentic and aim to develop mind body and soul. Lisa’s classes are gentle, inclusive and suitable for complete beginners. You can expect to leave feeling relaxed and recharged.

Bryony Seekins

Yoga has been a dedicated part of Bryony’s life for the last 8 years. When living in India and being enriched by the beauty and roots of yoga, Bryony knew this was a part of her life that she wanted to deepen. Since completing her Teacher Training with Rasa yoga school, Bryony is excited to share and offer classes that are a soulful fusion of asana, mantra, mudra, pranayama and mediation. Yoga for Bryony, not only allows her to connect, tune in with her breath, feel into her body but let’s her move through life with a greater knowledge and understanding of what is means to connect, to be in tune with mother nature and the essence of this life, as well as making this world a brighter, more inclusive place for all.  Bryony’s zest for life and authentic voice, creates a warm welcoming space. Classes are theme lead, often linked with the elements, moon cycles or the changing seasons. Nature and ayurvedic living is very close to Bryony’s heart and day-to-day living. Bryony hopes through each practice her student feel a greater sense of balance, love and peace of mind.
