We are a hub for individual yoga teachers who run their classes independently in our shared space.

All teachers who run classes from Chepstow Yoga Space are highly qualified and have trained with reliable institutions such as the Yoga Alliance and the British Wheel of Yoga. Our teachers are passionate about what they do and share a commitment to making yoga and movement accessible to every body.

Christine Cox

Christine started practising yoga well over 10 years ago. In 2016 she decided to take her practice deeper and has since completed the British Wheel of Yoga’s Foundation Diploma and become a Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance. Christine specialises in Vinyasa Flow classes that both energise and relax, and is inspired by the belief that absolutely anyone can practise yoga; all that’s needed is the intention to start and from there, everyone has the chance to bloom.

Lorna Kennedy

Lorna has been practicing yoga regularly for more than 12 years.  Having finished her first 200 hour teaching training in 2010 she went on to do Ashtanga and Anusara Training Immersions and a 300 hour advanced level training in Embodied Flow.  She combines all her training to date with her many years of personal practice to teach a fluid vinyasa style of yoga that invites her students to fully embody the practice.  Her classes are designed to strengthen and make space in the body and mind, utilising the power of the breath and a felt sense of the body to stop gripping, to start grounding and to experience a real sense of freedom.

Ali Rose

Ali describes herself as a ‘Somatic Yogi’ ….   inspired by a love of Somatic movement her classes seek to bring you out of your mind and into a felt sense of your body.  With a love of anatomy, Ali takes you on a deep dive into the body, so yoga practice becomes an ‘inside out’ joyful experience.   Complete absorption into body and breath is soothing to the nervous system and leaves you feeling refreshed and re-vitalised.  Ali qualified to teach through the British Wheel of Yoga (500 hours) and has been teaching yoga classes, workshops and weekend retreats locally since 2011.

Sam Williams

Sam is a yoga and meditation teacher specialising in pre and postnatal and feminine yogic care. At the heart of Sam’s teachings is a total awe of the limitless powers of the mind and body. She believes we all have the tools to self soothe and ground through whatever life throws at us.
You can join Sam each week for Yin, Hatha and Pregnancy yoga classes in person at CYS. Keep an eye out for her monthly workshops and events.

Alice Jomain

Alice completed her 200 hour Ashtanga and Yin training with Bristol School of yoga in 2018. She has practised for over 10 years which she believes has helped her grow stronger, more flexible and slightly more fearless, both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires Alice to live each moment more mindfully, and to be kinder to herself and others. In Alice’s classes, expect a friendly welcome, a flowing sequence and a chance to challenge yourself to help you deepen your practice. Alice’s hope is that you step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced.

Natalie Talbot

Natalie is a 200 hour yoga alliance teacher who trained in traditional hatha and ashtanga yoga in the ‘yoga capital’ of Rishikesh in India. She has also been practising mindfulness for three years receiving many personal benefits, and inspiring her to create ‘The New You Project’ through which she offers personalised mindfulness courses. Natalie’s classes connect yoga and mindfulness to create harmony between body and mind.

Karen Maidment

Karen has been practising yoga for over ten years, and teaching for five. Coming to it first to strengthen and stretch her physical body, but then later to calm her mind and emotions. Karen fuses her work as a Health & Nutrition Coach with yoga teaching to support students and clients in all aspects of their wellbeing. She is inspired by creative sequencing and driven by good body alignment to create a safe, effective and beneficial practise. When you love something, you want to share that love with as many people as possible. So above all else she aims to make my classes fun, inclusive and approachable.  Karen is an Registered Yoga Alliance Advanced 500hr Yoga Teacher.

Sian Rule

Sian has been helping people of all ages and experiences to use the huge scope of Yoga to improve their health and well-being for over 12 years. Whether it’s to increase flexibility, find an inner calm and strength, or simply to enjoy the benefits of a yoga class, she enjoys working together to identify goals and how to get there. Yoga is about enhancing your life so you can do what you need to and enjoy what you love to do. Besides being a fully-qualified teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga (2007), Sian is also an Eden Energy Medicine Practitioner (2017).

Kishe Redwood

Kishe is a Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher (CIYT 2004). She teaches regular classes in the Forest of Dean and Wye valley where her students enjoy her clear and thorough approach to yoga focusing on the precision and alignment in asana that are defining characteristics of the Iyengar system.

Kishe is warm hearted & down-to-earth and patiently encourages students to push a little further than they thought possible! Her students describe her classes as friendly, happy sessions led with good humour, kindness and rewarding hard work.

Abi Page

Abi holds a 200-hour Yoga teacher and Ayurveda qualification with the Yoga Alliance. With a background in gymnastics, swimming, athletics and hiking, this lead to a passion in the Health and Wellness industry and ultimately to Yoga, which Abi has been practicing for 6 years. Abi started her career in the financial technology market, during this time yoga became Abi’s source of relaxation, a safe space to disconnect from the outside-world, which taught her a lot about herself from a mental and physical perspective. Abi is extremely passionate about sharing her journey with others and the benefits of connecting your breath and movement at a deeper level.
